Luxury real estate in Zekeriyaköy

Zekeriyaköy lies in the north of Istanbul between the forest and the sea, a settlement of low-rise estates and villas with gardens. I live here and I read the area's homes as an interior architect.

Layout, not square metres, makes luxury

Two homes of the same size on the same estate can live very differently here. Orientation, light, the relationship with the garden and the floor plan make the difference. Before a viewing I explain each home's plan and the light it gets through the day.

Estate living

Petekkent, Sharman, Terrace Hayat, Terrace Plus, Terrace Doğa and Fema Garden are the well-known estates. Security, pools, sports areas and shuttles vary from one to the next; I ask what the service charge covers, item by item.

Getting around

Some estates run a shuttle to Hacıosman metro at set hours. Commuting time depends on route and hour; I schedule the viewing at your commuting time so you can time the journey yourself.
